Bakery style cookies

 What’s the difference between a bakery style cookie and just a plain cookie ?  No, it’s not a opening to a bad joke.  Is it the size? I do enjoy an ” Extra- Large” cookie. Just the other week  I was in the city with black and white cookie in my hand walking and window shopping. {Walking is apart of my cardio. I had to burn the “extra” calories from the “extra large cookie”}. I don’t really know the answer.A Big cookie is comfort food to me, the bigger the cookie the better.

form dough into balls

after you form 1/4 ball then flatten. 

Can’t wait to eat

2 sticks of unsalted butter soften
2  2/3 cups of flour
1 cup of brown sugar
1 1/2  sugar
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teapoon baking soda
2 eggs
4 teaspoon of vanilla
So, I put  m&m’s  in my cookies today, but you can put in anything that you want. Chocolate chip, sugar sprinkle or an kind of  candies.

Preheat oven  375.Cream together butter and both sugars until it’s well blended. Then add the vanilla. Add the dry ingredients. Mix in the candies of your choice and chill for a few mins. Form dough into mid-largre size, after you carefully put in the candies of your choice. Then take a bout 1/4 of cup and place on cookies sheets or backing silicone mat. Press down to flatten it  You should be able to get a least 5  cookies on the sheet. Bake for 13-16 mins
