Peach cobbler pie

This is my first dessert post since ‘Sandy‘. I just want to thank everybody for being so kind and  supportive .
It’s been rough the last 3 weeks, but i’m one of the few lucky one’s who now have power, heat and food after 2 1/2 weeks in the dark. Not knowing when things would get better.
The power did come back for some areas in Far Rockaway beach. So, it was a bitter sweet thanksgiving for us. But, we tried to celebrate as usual with family and friends.

What is a southern  peach cobbler pie? A combo of cobbler and pie =Delicious.  My sister and I, wanted to make something different for thanksgiving. After a few drinks, we came up with combining the two for a awesome dessert. It’s a must try treat.

4 cups of peaches
1 cup of butter
1 cup of flour
1 cup of milk
1 1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of white sugar
2 frozen pie dough
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
dash of salt

Preheat oven at 375
melt butter on top pie dough in  9 inch pie pan. In bowl combine flour ,white sugar,baking powder, salt and milk. Stir dry ingredients until moist and pour over melted butter in pie pan. On high heat in sauce pan combine peaches, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir constantly until it starts to thickens and starts to bubble. Pour peach mixture over the other batter in pie pan. Bake 40-45 mins. {makes about 2 pies}
