Baked Donuts

Cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar
I just brought a donut baking pan and could not wait to try it out.
tablespoons butter, at room temperature

1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Donut coating

Powdered sugar: 1/2 cup of powdered sugar,1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Plain/cinnamon: 5 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon

Preheat oven at 350. Shift together flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
Butter donut pans generously and dust lightly with flour, tapping any excess.
And flour mixture to butter mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, alternating with 1/2 cup of milk.Fill
prepared baking pan about 2/3 full. Bake for about 1/2 hour or until donuts are done. Remove immediately from pans, roll in melted butter, then in a bowl, 1/2 of powdered sugar 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. For the the plain/cinnamon  donuts: 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and 5 tablespoons of sugar mix together in a bowl and roll donuts in mixture.
