Skinny banana mousse


Today’s recipes is skinny banana mousse . Not only is it healthy but is very creamy and delicious !
A lot of recipes that are healthy, really don’t taste that good. So I really wanted this recipe to awesome. Hope you like it.






Ingredients 

2 tablespoons of low fat milk
4 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 med. banana cut in quarters
1 cup of banana flavor yogurt or plain yogurt low fat
8 1/4 inch banana slices



Directions

1.Place milk, sugar, vanilla, and banana in blender. Process for 15 seconds at high speed until smooth.
2.Pour mixture into small bowl and fold in yogurt. Chill.
3.Spoon into 4 dessert dishes and garnish each with 2 banana slices just before serving.

Ice cream sandwiches

This is a super fab recipe to make for the 4th. And you don’t need a ice cream maker for this recipe. Every one is going to it. And 
who doesn’t want a ice cream sandwich ? 

Ingredients 


Directions

  • In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch and butter; stir in milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Cool completely. Stir in condensed milk.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream until stiff peaks form; fold into milk mixture. Divide between two freezer containers. Stir melted chocolate into one container until well blended. Cover and freeze both mixtures for 6 hours or until firm.
  • To assemble, place 1/3 cup of ice cream on the bottom of a cookie. Top with another cookie; press down gently. If desired, roll sides of ice cream sandwich in chocolate chips, jimmies, peanuts or coconut. Wrap in plastic wrap. Repeat. Freeze until serving.

Skinny chick’s chocolate chip ice cream

This is a light treat for all us women, who wait til the 

last minute and try to drop a few pound before bikini

season. {Like me} Four ingredients and a ice cream

 maker that’s it. Drizzle a little low fat -low sugar

 chocolate syrup.






Ingredients


  • 4 cups fat-free half-and-half
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 can (14 ounces) fat-free sweetened condensed milk
  • 1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chunks or chips


  1. 1.In a large bowl, beat half-and-half and pudding mix on low speed.
  2. 2.Beat in the condensed milk.
  3. 3.Fill cylinder of ice cream freezer; freeze according to manufacturer’s directions.
  4. 4.Coarsely chop chocolate chunks if desired; stir into ice cream.
  5. 5.Transfer to freezer containers. Freeze for 2-4 hours before serving.

Oreo whip fluff









Today I’m doing a very kid friendly treat. My nephew found this recipe,  and a made for a kids sleepover party. They absolutely love it. Very easy and quick. A delicious treat in four steps.

2 packages of mini Oreo’s 
half a box of vanilla pudding
1- 8 oz. of cool whip
1 1/2 cup of vanilla cool whip frosting
1 cup of marshmallow fluff
1/2 cup of milk





1. In a large bowl, combine pudding and milk and blend together.
with a hand mixer on low speed, drop in cool whip, cool whip frosting and marshmallow fluff.

2.Take one package of Oreo’s and chop them. Take the other one and crush them.

 3.Once everything is combine add in chopped Oreo’s. 

4.Place in serving dish sprinkle crushed Oreo’s on top and chill until serving 45-60 mins.

Mocha mousse



When I found this recipe this I knew I had to try it. It’s a perfect blend of coffee and dark chocolate. Hope You like it.

1/2 cup of heavy cream, plus 3/4 cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup of instant coffee granules
1 egg
1/8 cup of sugar
2 ounce of dark chocolate chopped
2 ounce of bittersweet chocolate chopped

1.In small saucepan , heat 1/2 cup of heavy cream until you see steam come up. Stir in the instant coffee , do not let it boil.
2.Meanwhile, in the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the egg until it’s light yellow and frothy for about 3-5 mins. Add the sugar a little at a time until well combined.
3.At the same time, beat the egg in the bowl of a mixer until light yellow and frothy, gradually beat in the sugar, add half of the warm heavy cream/coffee mixture to the mixer and beat well.
4.Pour the egg mixture from the mixing bowl into the saucepan, cook on low for about 5 mins whisking constantly.
5.Sir sugar, egg, and Irish cream mixture into saucepan, cook on low for 5 mins, whisking constantly, add chocolate to the saucepan and whisk until melted, remove from the burner.
6.Cover the pot with a tight fitting lid. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours, stirring 1 time.
7.Remove the pot from the refrigerator, in bowl of mixer, beat the remaining 3/4 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form, add the chocolate from the pot to the mixer and beat on low until starting to combine. Increase the mixer speed to high and beat until fully combined.
8.Transfer the mousse into four serving dishes. Chill until ready to serve. For garnish I used rolled wafers and chocolate sprinkles.

Brownie truffles

My  fellow choc-o-holics this a must have treat ! For this recipe  you must have moist chocolate brownies, { Chewy chocolate brownies   Hershey’s triple chocolate dessert topping sprinkles, chocolate  frosting and melted chocolate. That’s it. The sprinkles alone are delicious.  I must warn you, once you make them you will become addicted. 

Hershey’s triple chocolate dessert topping sprinkles have tiny cookie crumbs.

Ingredients

1 pan of brownies
1 1/2  cups of melted  chocolate
2 cups of Hershey’s triple chocolate dessert topping sprinkles
3/4 cup of chocolate frosting

    

1. Cut brownies into 4 rows by 3 . Crumble in bowl, add in the frosting. With your hands combine together. Row combo into balls. Chill for 30-60 mins.
2. In a microwave safe bowl melt chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds, then in 15 second segments until melted. Stir until smooth.
3.With fork dip each brownie ball into chocolate, then place on top of parchment paper.
4. Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top and chill for another 30 mins then serve.




Homemade frozen yogurt with mini candy bars bites

I just brought a frozen yogurt maker from amazon{ Cuisinart ICE-21R Frozen Yogurt-Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker, }and could not wait to try it out. I had some goodies lying around so I added them to the recipe. {By goodies i’m mean mini candy bars} I got the idea from my nephew. So he is my co-author of this recipe and my food inspiration . And he will eat just about anything. He wanted to add the craziest things to recipe for some reason. But, we settle on candy bars. This is a very delicious and easy frozen yogurt recipe.

Ingredients
3 tablespoons of light corn syrup
2 cups of plain whole-milk yogurt
2 cups of non-fat or reduced fat greek yogurt
1/2 cup of super fine sugar
1 bag mini candy bars

1.Whisk both yogurts, the sugar and corn syrup in a bowl until combined. Pour into an frozen yogurt maker or ice cream marker, and follow the directions.

2.If you want soft serve , then  you should serve it right for the yogurt marker. 

3. Place frozen yogurt in large bowl, chop mini candy bars and fold half  gently into yogurt.


4. Place frozen yogurt in small serving dishes, and  then take remaining bars and place strategically onto frozen yogurt.  some 


For a firmer yogurt, remove from marker and into a covered container and freeze for up to 2 hours. Then  place strategically onto frozen yogurt. 







Caramel cheesecake dip

This is a quick and easy delicious dip recipe. You can serve it with fruit or shortbread cookies. Its a perfect party snack.


Ingredients
1 cup of cream cheese {soft}
1/2 cup of cool whip
1 teaspoon of vanilla
3 oz.  caramel
1 teaspoon of powdered sugar


Instructions 

1. In a bowl mix together with a mixer, cream cheese and cool whip until it’s smooth with no lumps.
2. Add in sugar, vanilla and caramel. Again, mix together until nice and smooth.
3. Chill until ready to serve. I add extra caramel drizzle when serving. 


Cookie dough dip

Three easy steps to a creamy cookie dough dip !
Edible cookie dough. Yes, edible, you won’t have to go to gym after you this cookie dough. You can use fat free or low fat cream cheese. My nephew craves cookie dough all the time, he loves this recipe . I like to dip fresh fruit in it, so delicious.
Quick and easy.

Ingredients
1- 8 ounce of cream cheese
1/2 cup of butter
3/4 cup of powdered sugar
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions
1.Beat cream cheese, butter ,brown sugar, powdered sugar and vanilla.
2. Sir in chocolate chips.
3.Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  • Peanut butter white chocolate Mousse

    This recipe is a peanut butter lover’s dreams. Two kinds of peanut butter in this delicious rich mousse. P&b mousse is mostly used as a filling in a cake or cheesecake, but is very,very delicious by itself.

    Ingredients
    1 cup of  white chocolate peanut butter
    1 tablespoon of hazelnut chocolate peanut butter
    1 {8 ounce} of cream cheese room temp.
    1 cup of powdered sugar 
    1 teaspoon of vanilla
    1 cup of whipping cream



    1.With a mixer, beat peanut butter and cream cheese in a large 
    bowl until light and fluffy about 2-3 mins.

    2. Add sugar, vanilla and beat until it’s blended well.

    3.In a separate bowl, with a clean beaters, beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into peanut butter mixture in additions.

    4. Place in serving bowls and refrigerate for about 30 mins.
    Then serve.


     Chopped up nuts and some chocolate {or Chocolate chips} and sprinkle on top.
