Triple chocolate bliss cookie bars




Happy cookie Friday ! Please you do not love, love, love. chocolate you must look away. Because this is for choc-o-holics  only ! This Super triple chocolate bliss cookie bars has is loaded with chocolate. Check it out.






Bake time: 14-20 mins.
Prep time: 26-30 mins
makes about : 12 15 bars

Ingredients 
2 cups of flour

1/2 cup of cocoa powder {Dark cocoa unsweetened }

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1/4 teaspoon of salt

3/4 cup white granulated sugar


1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed


3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks or 12 tablespoons {Soft}


2 eggs


1-1/2 cups Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips

1 cup of of crushed chocolate cookie crumbs









Cream cheese frosting


1/2 cup of cream cheese {soft}

1 cup of Duncan hines Chocolate glaze

3 tablespoons of powdered sugar  



In a small bowl, place softened cream cheese and 

powder sugar and mix. Then heat duncan hines 

chocolate glaze in microwave for 45 seconds and 

add to cream cheese and mix until fully blended and

 set a side.











Directions 
1 Preheat oven at 350 . Foil  9 X 13 pan and spray

 with oil  and set aside.


2.In a med. bowl whisk flour, baking soda, cocoa

 powder,baking soda and salt and set aside . 

3. Cream together butter, both sugars until light and

 fluffy. Add eggs and mix until combined .

4. Add in flour mixture and beat until mixture is fully 

blended together. Then stir in chips.


5.Place mixture in pan and bake for 14-20 mins or 

until it springs back when you touch it. Take out and

cool. Using the foil, lift the bar cookies out of the pan.

Peel down the foil and frost with chocolate cream 

cheese . Let it sit for a few mins. Add crumble 

cookies,  then place label sauce in microwave safe cup

 and place on high Ghirardelli chocolate black label Sauce
 in microwave safe cup and place on high

for 30-45 seconds. Pour over bars with a back and

 forth motion. Add chocolate chips or crushed nut or 

anything you like.

I’m so glad it’s Friday, I had a very  long week. One of those weeks that everything went wrong. UGHH !!!!
I have the house to myself tonight, no kids, nobody. Just me relaxing. With some wine or anything I can find and these delicious chocolate cookie bars with chocolate fudge bourbon .YUM. 

Ingredients 
Quick Chocolate Bourbon sauce 
4 tablespoons of Bourbon 
1/2 jar of fudge topping
In a small microwave bowl or glass measuring cup, microwave
fudge topping on high for 20-30 seconds or until soft. Stir in bourbon.

Chocolate chip cookie 

  • 2 1/4

     cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips
Chocolate chunk cookies
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 
  • 1 cup butter, softened 
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar 
  • 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • large eggs 
  • (11.5-oz.) package semisweet chocolate chunks
  • 2 tablespoons of bourbon {opt.}
Directions 
1. Preheat oven at 350. Chocolate chip cookie dough: Cream together butter, brown sugar and vanilla extract, in a large bowl, Mix together well until creamy.

2..Add one egg at a time. Stir in flour, salt and baking powder. Mix until dough stiffens a little. Mix chips a little at a time.

3.Repeat the same method for the chocolate chunk mixture.

4.Line 13×9 pan with foil, and spray with oil. Spoon in chocolate chunk dough, then drop in chocolate chip mixture. Bake for 19-25 mins or until bar are golden brown. Don’t over bake. Take out and cool. Drizzle bourbon sauce over bars and cut into rows.


Milky way and M&M cookie bars

Happy cookie Friday ! I a very long week, I look forward to my cookie Fridays. {And a drink as well} Today’s treats is a candy cookie bars. Milky way is one of my fav candy along with M&M’s.
So why not put them together with a delicious sugar dough batter.
The results:  soft chewy caramel delight. Try it out . Have a happy cookie Friday and a good weekend.




Preheat oven : 325
Prep: 10-15 mins
Bake: 12-15 mins
Makes: 15 serving

Press dough into pan








Ingredients
    1/2 cup of canola oil
    1/2 cup of brown sugar
    1/2 cup of sugar
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon of vanilla 
    2 cups of flour
    1/2 teaspoon of baking soda 
    1/4 teaspoon of salt 
    1/4 cup of m&m
    12 milky ways chopped


    1. Preheat oven at 325 .Line  a 13 x 9 pan with foil and lightly spray with cooking oil.

    2.In a bowl, combine the oil, brown sugar, sugar, egg, m&m’s and vanilla. Then stir until combined

    3.On a cutting board chop up 12-15 mini milky way.

    4.Spread dough in baking pan and sprinkle milky on top, bake for
    12-15 mins. Take out and cool before cutting and serving.

    Happy cookie Friday everyone ! So , early last week I made Pink lemonade cupcakes , and tonight there’s  a sleep over with a bunch  of little girls, who requested  I make this recipe for them. It’s a very easy and yummy recipe. Hope you enjoy it, have a good Weekend!

    Pan size: 9×11
    Bake:12-14 mins
    Preheat oven:350

    Ingredients

    1 cup of unsalted butter
    2 egg yolks 
    3/4 cup of powdered sugar
    2 cups of sugar
    1 teaspoon of vanilla 
    2 drops of pink food coloring
    1/4 cup of pink lemonade
    2 1/4 cup of flour
    1 teaspoon of baking powder
    1 teaspoon of salt
    1 can of  pink lemonade frosting
    Pink sugars or sprinkles



    1.Preheat oven at 350

    2. Cream together, butter, salt, sugars, vanilla. Add egg yolk and 1/3 cup of pink lemonade.

    3.Add flour ,baking powder and mix.

    4. Add 2 drops of food coloring and mix until dough forms.

    5.Press dough into sprayed 9 x 11 pan and bake for 12-14 mins do not over bake. Remove and let cool.

    6. Once bars has cooled it’s time to frost. Spread a thick layer frosting over bars and sprinkle sprinkles over frosting. It’s ready to serve.



    Homemade frozen yogurt with mini candy bars bites

    I just brought a frozen yogurt maker from amazon{ Cuisinart ICE-21R Frozen Yogurt-Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker, }and could not wait to try it out. I had some goodies lying around so I added them to the recipe. {By goodies i’m mean mini candy bars} I got the idea from my nephew. So he is my co-author of this recipe and my food inspiration . And he will eat just about anything. He wanted to add the craziest things to recipe for some reason. But, we settle on candy bars. This is a very delicious and easy frozen yogurt recipe.
    Give it a try. Let me know how it came out. Send me a twit pic.

    Ingredients
    3 tablespoons of light corn syrup
    2 cups of plain whole-milk yogurt
    2 cups of non-fat or reduced fat greek yogurt
    1/2 cup of super fine sugar
    1 bag mini candy bars

    1.Whisk both yogurts, the sugar and corn syrup in a bowl until combined. Pour into an frozen yogurt maker or ice cream marker, and follow the directions.

    2.If you want soft serve , then  you should serve it right for the yogurt marker. 

    3. Place frozen yogurt in large bowl, chop mini candy bars and fold half  gently into yogurt.


    4. Place frozen yogurt in small serving dishes, and  then take remaining bars and place strategically onto frozen yogurt.  some 


    For a firmer yogurt, remove from marker and into a covered container and freeze for up to 2 hours. Then  place strategically onto frozen yogurt.

    Happy Friday ! It’s the end of  another busy week. I had a rough one so, I can’t wait to kick back. {with a beer or something stronger}I know I will only get the leftovers of these cookie bars.  I make them with M&M’s  salt and sweet snack mix. { It has pretzels, M&M’s and peanuts.  If you haven’t tried this snack mix before shame on you. It’s very addictive, they also have shortbread mix, which I love.  This recipe is a fun recipe for the kids, but I can’t stop munching on them.

    Pan size: 9×13
    Bake: 350
    Bake Time: 12-19 mins
    Overall Time: about. 1 hour – 20-25 mins

    Ingredients

    3/4 cup of butter
    1 package of cream cheese {3oz.}
    1 cup of sugar
    2 3/4 cup of flour
    1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon of salt
    1 cup of powdered sugar
    1 8 oz. bag of m&m’s salty and sweet snack mix
    1 cup of frosting any kind or flavor
    1 cup of chocolate chips

    The snack mix has pretzels, m&m’s and peanuts

    Instructions 
    1. cream together, butter, cream cheese, and sugars in large bowl, mix until fluffy . In med bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
    Add dry ingredients to cream batter. Stir until soft dough foams.
    Chill for 30 mins.

    2. Preheat oven at 350. Lightly spray 9×13 pan. 

    3.Place chill dough in pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over cookie dough and bake for 14-20 mins or until light golden brown.

    4.Take out and place on cooling rack for 20-30 mins.

    5.Frost with 1 cup of frosting, then sprinkle m&m snack mix over frosting. And it’s ready to serve .


    Chocolate chip cheesecake cookie bars

    This is a family fav. I make these cookie bars every couple of weeks for family gatherings and they are as soon as I take them out of the fridge. I usually make them with the kiddies, which they love helping.
    The only problem is you have to chill them for 2 hours. Which is a lifetime to them. Then I have to fight the adults off firsts dibs. I used a clear vanilla  extract for the cream cheese mixture. It’s a easy recipe and really delicious .

    spread cream cheese mixture of 1 half of dough
    Sprinkle the rest of the dough over cream cheese

    Cool for 30 mins then chill for 2 hours

    Ingredients 

    package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 egg
    2 cups of of cookie dough{See chocolate chip cookies recipe or use frozen store brought}
    1 teaspoon of clear vanilla  extract  


    Preheat oven at 350  Pan size- 9 or 8 inch 
    In small bowl, beat cream cheese,sugar and egg,with mixer, until smooth.
    In a square pan, split in half the cookie dough. With lightly floured hands press half of the dough evenly
    in the bottom of the pan. Then spread cream cheese mixture on top of dough. Crumble remaining dough over cream cheese mixture and bake for 35- 40 mins or until lightly golden brown.
    Take out and cool for about 30 mins. Then chill in fridge for 2 hours.
