Golden Oreo Blondies 

Who’s in the mood for something soft , chewy and  gooey ! I love making these golden oreo blondies.  It”s a little bit of yummy gooey delight !

Pour batter in ramekins and sprinkle oreo’s on top
Bake time: 20 mins
Prep time: 12-15 mins
Pan :  Ramekins
makes : 5-10 blondies 


  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 1 cup of tightly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 package of golden oreos
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of butterscotch 

1 Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 4 ounce

 ramekins. Whisk together the melted butter and

 sugar in a bowl.

2 Add the egg and vanilla extract and whisk.

3 Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and

 salt, mix it all together. 

4 Pour into ramekins and spread evenly.Sprinkle

crushed golden oreo’s on top of batter. Bake for 12-

19 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow

to cool before removing. {spoon around sides if it 

sticks} Drizzle butterscotch over blondies .

Cookie Friday 

It’s cookie Friday ! On the menu today is Mocha fudge cookies with butterscotch drizzle . Once you make these babies you will be snacking on them all day ! There just something about the fudge and butterscotch together that’s delightful.

Prep Time : 25-30 mins
Preheat oven: 350
Bake: 10-12 mins


4 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips divided
2 cups of butter 
3 cups of butter
1 tablespoon of instant coffee granules
8  eggs lightly beaten
3 tablespoons of vanilla extract 
8 cups of flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup Butterscotch 


1. In large microwave-safe bowl, melt 2 cups of chocolate chips and butter; stir until smooth.Combine the sugars, cocoa and coffee; add to chocolate mixture. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to chocolate mixture and mix well. Stir in the walnuts and remaining chocolate chips.

2. Drop  by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto un greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-11  minutes or until edges are set. Remove to wire racks to cool.

3.With a spoon drizzle butterscotch on top of cookies and serve when ready.

Gooey Butterscotch bars

 Butterscotch bars should be gooey. And that’s what they are very gooey. I like anything gooey. And this recipe is wonderful and easy. I make them all the time with my little cousins.
  • Prep: 20 min. Bake: 20 min. + cooling



  • 1 package (17-1/2 ounces) sugar cookie mix
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 14 ounces caramels
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup butterscotch chips or chunks
  • Butterscotch sauce  {to drizzle over the top}

  • In a large bowl, combine the sugar cookie mix, pudding mix, butter and egg. Press into an un greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until set.
  • In a large saucepan, combine caramels and milk. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until melted. Remove from the heat. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with butterscotch chips.
  • Cool completely. Cut into bars. Store in an airtight container. Yield: about 3 dozen.

Delicious and easy Homemade donuts

Yummy homemade donuts

It  has been  a tough 2 weeks for for me. My computer crash on me 3 times last week. For  2 weeks I missed my Sunday night dessert. But I’m back today with goal for everyone to check out my blog.
Delicious and easy  homemade donuts. Truly love making these donuts for people . They love the fact that, you can pick your own topping . Making this recipe is a little different from the donut holes, but still easy.
1 can of flaky biscuits {3-4 cans if you a large group of people}
1/2 cup of oil 
med. frying pan
{different toppings of your choice}
My choices
  • cup of caramel
  • cup of butterscotch
  • hazelnut chocolate {Melted}
  • white chocolate {Melted}
Cut holes in biscuits
place dough in hot oil

let cool on paper towel so oil can drain

dip donut into caramel. And do the same for the butterscotch.
Remove biscuit from container, cut a hole or use cookie cutter, in the middle of the biscuit.
In a frying pan, pour half of the oil in pan. {You don’t want to deep fried it.} And heat for 2-3 mins. 
Lightly place dough {2-3 pieces } in the pan with tongs. Fry until golden brown on each sides turning with tongs. Place on paper towels to cool and oil can drip off. Once it’s cool you want to stack on a clean tray.
Place severing cup with your choice of topping on table with freshly made donuts. Get ready to party and eat . Enjoy.

Butterscotch pound cake

My sister ask me to find a recipe she wouldn’t ordinary make. We like to challenge each other. I knew she wouldn’t think about butterscotch in a pound cake.{she likes plain things} This is really a good recipe. She didn’t use coffee in hers, were not coffee people. She really loved it. Enjoy.

Butterscotch Pound Cake

1 cup butterscotch flavored chips
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons instant coffee powder
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup butter, softened
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
4 large eggs
Pour batter in loaf pan
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine butterscotch chips, water and coffee powder in the top of a double boiler. Place over barely simmering water and stir until melted. Remove from heat.
  3. In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter with an electric mixer on medium speed. Beat in butterscotch-coffee mixture.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, ending with flour.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Spread in prepared pan.
  7. Bake 40 minutes or until set. Cool on wire rack.
